Alors que Secret Story 3 fait un carton sur TF1, la chaine devrait lancer Koh-Lanta 2009 le 28 aout. En effet, la Star Acaddemy 2009 n’ayant était annulé,  Koh-Lanta prendra sa place. Cette année les aventurier seront en Micronésie sur une île de la république de Palau.
